1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using McMindmap in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Description of Service

McMindmap is a web-based knowledge management platform that allows users to create, organize, and share mind maps and linked notes. Features include:

• Creation and management of mind maps and topic files
• AI-assisted content generation and knowledge expansion
• Public and private sharing of mind maps
• OAuth-based authentication via GitHub, Google, LinkedIn, and Discord

3. User Accounts

You must authenticate via a supported OAuth provider (GitHub, Google, LinkedIn, or Discord) to use McMindmap. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share your session or allow unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use McMindmap to:

• Upload, share, or generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' private data
• Abuse the AI generation features to produce spam, misinformation, or malicious content
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service infrastructure
• Impersonate another person or entity

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you create in McMindmap. By making content public, you grant McMindmap a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and serve that content as part of the service. The McMindmap platform, logo, and software are owned by McMindmap and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

6. AI-Generated Content

McMindmap offers AI-assisted features powered by third-party language models. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and using any AI-generated content. McMindmap does not guarantee the accuracy or fitness of AI output for any purpose.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

McMindmap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from data loss. Use the service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, McMindmap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or profits.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
